HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) is made from oil. It only takes 4% of the world's annual oil production to make plastic. HDPE is used for a variety of food and drink packaging as well as other items in the construction and automotive industry.

However, it is a strong durable plastic and can be easily moulded into a variety of shapes.
